Built in 1850, this is a
traditional Parisian "Haussman"
style building.
The lobby is open plan with the
lounge and seating area. M. Murat
was a famous soldier serving the
Emperor Napoleon, and the decor of
the public areas is in keeping
with this theme. The impressive
wood panelled walls, carved
furniture and huge frescos
portraying epic battles, capture
the mood of the whole period.
The rooms are in good condition.
They are tastefully decorated and
furnished and equipped to a good
standard. There are no triple
rooms available.
This is a 3 star hotel, classified
as a good superior tourist class
property. The hotel is full of
charm and offers a warm
atmosphere, steeped in history. Direct

Tower, the Champs Elysées,
Faubourg St Honoré, the Opera
