In one of the better areas, between St Augustin and the Madeleine, the Astor has 134 rooms, luxuriously furnished in Art Deco style.  All are air-conditioned and have phone, satellite TV, minibar, safe and private marble bathroom with hairdryer.  The bar, lobby and library all have great style as does the restaurant (closed Saturday and Sunday and during August) where menus are prepared by famous French Chef Joel Robuchon.  Astor is one of the best quality 4 star deluxe hotels in Paris.
